Terms and Conditions

Commissions 

 

I aim to respond to all quote requests within 2-3 working days of submission. By accepting a quote given to you by Art of Waaagh Studios and paying the deposit fee, a contract is formed for the duration of the project. 

 

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date sent, during this time Art of Waaagh Studios reserves the right to amend any errors or to withdraw the quote. Quotes will estimate queue and working times however, unforeseen circumstances such as clients requesting changes can affect them. 

 

Once you have paid the required deposit your commission will be entered into my queue (my current estimated wait time can be seen on the home page) and I will provide you with an estimated date for the project to commence. 

 

If you are sending me models for your project, these must be received by me before your project will be entered into the queue. 

 

Deposits 

 

Deposits are 30% of the service cost plus the costs of any materials required for the commission. This will be detailed in your quote.

 

Once a project has been deposited, should you wish to cancel once in the queue you may incur costs if project materials have been sourced by me. In this case, I will post the purchased kits and materials to you. The postage for this will be paid for from your deposit. The remaining deposit funds will be refunded. 

 

Updates and amendments 

 

I will provide work-in-progress pictures during the commission by email. However, feel free to contact me at ian@artofwaaaghstudios.com at any time during your project should you require a specific update.

 

If you decide to make any amendments once work has begun, I will endeavour to accommodate requests for small alterations without adding additional charges. Larger changes will incur additional costs and would be discussed and invoiced before any changes are made. 

 

 

Payment 

 

I accept bank transfer payments for both the deposit and final payment. An invoice will be sent to your email and payment is handled securely.  

I can accept Paypal payments, however, this will incur additional costs to cover the fee's charged.

If requested this will be calculated and included in your quote.

 

Final payments must be made within 21 days of my sending over the final invoice. If the final payment is not made within this time, you will then be given a final warning, that you have a week (7 days) to resolve the bill, or their models will be put up for sale to recoup the debt incurred. This will usually be done by an eBay auction. Any excess funds from this process, over and above the quoted value of the commission will be transferred to you upon completion of the auction.

 Shipping 

 

Postage and packaging costs associated with your project will be detailed in your quote. All projects are dispatched via a tracked and fully insured service, there are no exceptions to this.  Please note that parcels being sent overseas may be subject to import duties/ taxes. You will be responsible for any such charges and it is agreed that Art of Waaagh Studios has no control over any such charges and that any unpaid fees will result in the package not being released by customs,

 

I package every project with the utmost care, as such my shipping costs include the cost of the postal service, packaging materials as well as the time required to wrap and pack your project as securely as possible and as such Art of Waaagh Studios are not responsible for any negligence on the part of the postal service
